PROJECT 1
STEAM not STEM
-
Art education is the key to creativity. BWAC is working to increase the exposure of STEAM not STEM related activities. STEAM is Science Technology Engineering Art and Math. Art education provides the critical thinking, communications and creativity skills essential to 21st century success
-
Creativity spurs innovation. BWAC delivers accelerator programs that inspires the innovative and creative talents of the young.
-
Innovation creates jobs. BWAC is invested in creating a new generation of engineers, researchers, scientists and explorers by exposing them to STEAM curriculum with the use of interlocking toys.
-
Jobs are the basis of our economic well being. BWAC focuses on the young who will build and create the future. We all will benefit.
PROJECT 2
Underserved Communities
-
We want to provide STEAM one LEGO at a time to underserved communities.
-
BWAC is partnering up with our local communities to reach out to the underserved children. Whether you are in public or private school we want to provide STEAM to every child.
-
Children from underserved communities are not exposed to STEAM-related careers early on. Some children may not even encounter these opportunities until they reach college. BWAC helps get them started. We understand every child’s excitement when they encounter new activities. We know how smart children really are. Our future needs hands-on learning and relatable, youthful role models, at BWAC we can provide all of that and more.
PROJECT 3
Preschool - Early Education
-
BWAC believes that there are no greater natural scientists and engineers than young children; they are inquisitive and naturally learn as they play. At BWAC we present information and ideas with increasing complexity to preschoolers at a young age, because it is essential in producing a new generation of young engineers.
-
BWAC supports the introduction of these basic concepts of technology by promoting literacy and other school readiness skills along the way.
-
This is the 21st century, where tech drives everything. If it’s not engaging, it goes over their heads. That is where BWAC comes in. We present information and ideas with increasing complexity to give preschoolers an introduction to the basic concepts of technology and promote literacy and other school readiness skills along the way.
PROJECT 4
Special Needs
-
BWAC advocates for the development of special needs children by offering a uniquely tailored program. Our services promote the development in both social skills and reinforcing play as a necessary component of any child’s growth.
-
BWAC helps develop and reinforce play skills and social skills such as verbal and non-verbal communication, joint attention, task focus, sharing and turn-taking and collaborative problem-solving.
